BL/45 BARRIER
BL/45 is a barrier designed and manufactured to overcome the traditional drawbacks that other barriers can present. In fact, BL/45 is extremely light (only 1.3 kg/m) and has a very small volume (the 12-m models, folded accordion-style, have a footprint of cm (45x70x45h), making it ideal for rapid deployment in pollution. The low height of the artifact allows for proper water flow in the submerged part and less resistance to the wind company in the emerged part. BL/45 is made of strong polyester fabric, coated on both sides with PVC compound, which ensures high strength characteristics over time. The barrier is equipped with a simple and effective header jointing system to prevent leakage of oily residues and hydrocarbons near the module joints.
Due to the placement of the floats within the fabric, the artifact does not have any kind of roughness on either side, which allows easy flow of pollutants and easy cleaning. A further considerable advantage offered by the BL/45 reef is that, once the accordion modules are folded and secured, it can be moored like a buoy, avoiding its removal and shelter ashore in adverse marine weather conditions.

MAINTENANCE
Given the simplicity of the barrier and the quality of the materials used, BL/45 does not require special maintenance. However, it is essential at the end of each deployment to provide a thorough cleaning before storage. For any eventuality, including tears due to adverse marine weather conditions, our company can provide any maintenance work and provide the necessary advice for minor repairs.
MODE OF EMPLOYMENT
BL/45 is able to meet with a balanced price/quality ratio, the needs of different users. The barrier is usually supplied in the color orange, but for specific uses it can also be made in other colors.
